Network Engineer

Digital Agent is an Atlanta-based phone, internet, and IT company offering a network of technology and telephony services to local and regional businesses. 

This role is responsible for ongoing support of all phone and internet products and services, including phones, phone systems, peripherals, switches, and routers. 

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday with some weekends and after-hours on call.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot phone system and network problems
• Diagnose and solve hardware and software faults
• Support software update rollouts
• Set up and deactivate user accounts and profiles
• Respond to customer requests
• Prioritize, manage, and document open support tickets
• Monitor phone systems and networks for clients
• Remotely assist field technicians, or, in some cases, travel to customer sites for new customer installs and issue resolution
• Train customer admins on phones and phone system features

• Able to interact confidently with clients while diagnosing problems and explaining solutions
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Passion for learning and expanding knowledge
• Ability to multitask while prioritizing multiple objectives
• Able to work in a team environment with diverse groups 


• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving ability, able to identify problems and propose solutions in advance
• Willing to work rotating on-call schedule when necessary
• Familiar with common network protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, SIP) and VoIP concepts
• Cisco, Broadsoft, Switchvox experience preferred, but not necessary 


• Based on level of experience and certifications
